Counts the number of webparts which derive from System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.WebPart.

The metric is used to differentiate between webparts which are derived from Microsoft.SharePoint.WebPartPages.WebPart (SharePoint Webparts) and those which are derived from System.Web.UI.WebControls.WebParts.WebPart (ASP.NET Webparts). Because the SharePoint Webparts are also derived from ASP.NET Webparts this metric would count both types. To avoid this situation the metric count ASP.NET Webparts - SharePoint Webparts.
To suppress this violation in managed code add the following attribute to the method which contains the instruction (available since SPCAF version v5.2). Learn more about SuppressMessage here.
