Add An Automation
There are two methods of creating automation: either from a policy directly or on the “Automation” page.
Directly from a Policy
To add automation directly from a check, you will need to:
-
Click on “Policies” on the Nav Panel.
-
Either hover over the service where the policy would reside and click “Go to Policies” or click the “Policy Menu” ([…]), click “All policies”.
-
Navigate to the Policy you want to add an automation to.
-
Click the”Ellipses menu” ([…]).
-
Click “Add Automation”.

-
This loads the “Automation Builder” with the Trigger pre-configured to “On policy violation”, and the check is set to the one you selected.
From the Automation Tab
To add automation from the Automations page, you will need to:
-
Click on “Automation” on the Nav Panel
-
Click on the “Add Automation” button on the right-hand side.
-
This loads the “Automation Template Library”.
-
Here you can either Add an Automation From a Library Template or create a custom automation. (Please see Creating a Custom Automation for more details.)
