Telemetry data

In order to operate the service and being able to further improve the service for Rencore’s customers, Rencore Governance is collecting telemetry data that can be access by authorized support personell.

Telemetry data is derived from the customers usage of the service and currently includes

• Connected Microsoft 365 services
• Granted permissions to scan data of the services
• Scanning jobs and errors
• Duration of the scans per service
• Infrastructure costs for the scans per service
• Number of objects identified per entity within a service
• Number of active users with a Microsoft 365 license (required to calculate the service fee)
• Number of configurations used within the service eg. Dashboards, Segments, Checks, Automations
• Generalized adoption metrics of the product, eg. has the customer created custom checks, dashboards etc.
