Customer Data
Rencore Governance collects and processes customer data, which means any information and metadata of the customer contained in Microsoft 365 or other services the customer chooses to connect to Rencore Governance.
Rencore Governance must access this information in order to perform the Services and includes Customer’s activity logs, as well as customizations and configuration made to Microsoft 365, as well as information provided in the process of signing up for Rencore Governance, e.g. payment information.
To allow Rencore Governance to access and scan the customer data, the customer must provide explicit consent to grant the required permission on a per-service basis or at a more granular level.
The customer remains in control at all times and can revoke the given consent at any time.
Customer data is stored in the Azure data center chosen by the customer upon creation of the Rencore Governance workspace.
Rencore Governance retains the customer data throughout the subscription period and limits the retention of historic data. Customers can delete their accounts in the Rencore Governance portal which immediately (within max. 10 minutes) puts the data into purge mode that data can be restored by sending a request to Rencore support after 30 days the data permanently deleted.
