Assignment Required for Rencore Governance

To restrict users from accessing Rencore Governance you will need to:

1. Sign into Microsoft Entra Admin Center.

2. Click on “Indentity”.

   1. Click on “Applications”.
   2. Click on “Enterprise applications”.
   3. Click on “All applications”.
   4. On the search enter “Rencore Governance (Microsoft Account)” and press “Enter”.

3. Click on the “Rencore Governance (Microsoft Account)” application.

4. Click on “Properties”.

5. Set “Assignment required?” to “Yes”.

   

6. Click “Save”.

Assigning Users and Groups to Access Rencore Governance

Now that the “Assignment required” setting is enabled, users and other apps or services must first be assigned this application before being able to access it. To grant access to Rencore Governance.

1. Now click on “Users and Groups”.

2. Click “+Add user/group”.

3. Click on “None Selected”.

4. A list of users and security groups will appear with the option to search for specific entities at the top of the page.

   1. To grant access to Rencore Governance, select the Users and groups you desire.
   2. Once finished selecting click “Select” at the bottom.

5. To complete the selection of new users/groups click “Assign” at the bottom of the page.
