Admin Portal Access
In order to operate Rencore Governance, Rencore personnel requires to access certain data connected to each customer. Authorized Rencore personnel uses an internal admin portal backend for this purpose.
Following data is accessible through the admin portal:
Workspace
- Users of a workspace (including name, email, last sign in date)
- Scan job history and currently running for a workspace
- Messages associated to scan jobs (eg. errors, warnings)
Environment
- Connected services
- Number of entities and relations per service
- Name and description of checks built
- Name and description of reports built
- Name and description of automations built
Other
- Tenant URL
- Company name, workspace name, and other metadata as per the configuration in Rencore Governance.
The Admin portal does not have insights into actual customer data. Only metadata and relevant information for telemetry can be found there.
Who has access
The admin portal can be accessed by these groups or individuals at Rencore:
- Authorized personnel in Technical Operations, including Operations and Support staff
Purpose: to ensure reliable performance, troubleshooting, and operations. - Authorized personnel in Product Management
Purpose: to understand telemetry, usage, adoption, and more.
