What is an Environment?

Each workspace can have one or multiple environments that share the same workspace settings such as connected apps, users, storage accounts, and Azure datacenter.

Different organizations should be separated into their own workspaces.

An environment can only be connected to one Office 365 tenant.

To govern multiple tenants of the same organization (ie. for different regions, test, production, etc.), you can add additional environments. Contact your Customer Success Manager to have this enabled.
