In this release, we added more support to Teams Shared Channels and added a new “Notifications” tab in Environment Settings. We also fixed an issue with the “Delay” automation action and changed how the “Last Data Update” is displayed in Policies Review. We also optimized platform performance and stability, enhancing overall reliability for a smoother and more seamless experience.

Features

• We’ve expanded support for Teams Shared Channels to include visibility into both internal and external users with access, as well as the specific channels they’re shared with. This data is now accessible through Inventory and can also be leveraged when building Policies or Reports in Rencore Governance.
• Additionally, we introduced a new “Notifications” tab in the Environment Settings. Workspace owners can now configure email alerts for specific events, tailoring notifications by user, role, or shared mailbox to suit their individual needs. Notifications are turned off by default, so users will need to opt in to start receiving them.

Bug Fixes

• We fixed an issue where the “Delay” action in some Automations may have been skipped or not applied as expected.
• We altered the “Last Data Update” column in the Policy Overview; the logic of the value displayed was changed to always show the most recent time when the policy was refreshed, no matter if the data inside actually changed. This was done due to ongoing confusion about deviating timeframes for policies of the same service.
