In this release, we focused on delivering a new user experience for Rencore Governance. The new UI will be visible in many parts of the product. Another big part of this release is two new services we offer as in preview: Azure, SharePoint Agents, Copilot, and Copilot Studio. If you would like to gain trial access to them, please reach out to your Customer Success Manager or the Support team.

Enhanced Navigation Experience

We’ve completely redesigned the navigation to help you find core functionality and information faster to work more efficiently.

  • Main Navigation Bar: A redesigned navigation structure provides intuitive access to all platform features.
  • Second Level Navigation: Context-aware navigation with improved dashboard organization makes it easier to switch between related tasks and discover content.
  • Profile & Settings Menu: Quick access to user preferences and account settings.
  • Workspace & Environment Picker: Seamlessly switch between workspaces and environments without losing context.

Newly Introduced Homepage

The new homepage serves as your governance command center, providing instant insights into your organization’s compliance posture and key insights.

  • Inventory Tile: View object counts and trends at a glance, with detailed sidebar insights for deeper analysis.
  • Policy Tile: Monitor policy compliance status and quickly access policy details when issues arise.
  • Report Tile: Access report insights and detailed analysis through interactive sidebars.
  • Provisioning Tile: Track provisioning activities and metrics about your user’s usage.
  • Access Tile: Monitor access management across your environment.
  • Automation Tile: View automation status and metrics to gain insights into your deployment.
  • Informational Content: We added multiple tiles with informational content on the right side to provide you with updates in the app.

Inventory Management

Gain deeper visibility into your Microsoft 365 and AI assets with our enhanced inventory views that make it easier to understand and manage your environment’s content.

  • Inventory Landing Page: A centralized view of all inventories with improved filtering helps you quickly find specific assets. You will find this page when clicking on the “Inventory” navigation element.
  • Inventory Details Page: Drill down into specific inventory items with rich metadata for complete visibility.
  • Details Pages: We updated the Details Pages for inventory items so you can view complete entity information with relationship mapping to understand dependencies.
  • Details Sidebars: Quick access to object properties without leaving your current context.

Policy Management

Managing policies and driving insights from them is now simpler than ever with our intuitive interface that guides you through the process.

  • Policies Landing Page: An organized view of all policies with status indicators helps you prioritize attention, filter based on services or categories depending on your current context.
  • Policies Rule Summary: We added a summary of the configuration so you can quickly grasp how the policy was configured without jumping to the builder. This functionality is also available for Reports.
  • Policies Recommendations: A brief overview of the importance and reasoning for out-of-the-box policies and recommendations on how to resolve violations curated by our governance experts. We will add more recommendations in the coming weeks.

Microsoft Copilot Service (Preview)

As organizations adopt Microsoft Copilot, ensuring responsible AI usage becomes critical. This new service helps you govern and monitor Copilot usage across your organization. We offer out-of-the-box reports and policies for your governance journey.

Microsoft Copilot Studio Service (Preview)

Organizations building custom copilots need visibility and control. Discover and govern all custom copilots built with Copilot Studio across your environment. We offer out-of-the-box reports and policies for your governance journey.

Microsoft Azure Service (Preview)

As AI and AI agents are based on additional costs charged through Azure Subscriptions, we added additional support for the Azure service to offer cost-based use cases about Copilot, Copilot Studio, and more.

Microsoft SharePoint Agents (Preview)

With AI agents becoming integral to SharePoint workflows, maintaining oversight is essential. Monitor and manage all AI agents deployed in your SharePoint environments. We will add additional reports and policies in the coming weeks.
