This release advances the Reviews capability delivering three significant enhancements that give administrators greater control over how reviews are configured, triggered, and maintained. Alongside these feature additions, a provisioning template fix addresses an inconsistent behavior reported by customers.
Features
- Update Review Objects: Review objects now stay synchronized with your Microsoft 365 environment after each scan. Display name changes, description updates, owner and member relationship changes, and workspace deletions are all reflected in active Pending and In Progress review objects automatically. Completed, Expired, and Canceled review objects remain unchanged, preserving the integrity of historical review records.
- Select a Group as Reviewer: Review configurations now support specifying one or more groups as the reviewer audience, alongside the existing options of workspace owners or individually specified users. All members of the selected groups become eligible reviewers. The group selection control draws from the full Rencore Governance inventory and follows the same interaction patterns as the existing user selection experience.
- Trigger a Review on Policy Violation: Reviews can now be triggered automatically when a policy violation is detected, in addition to the existing manual and scheduled trigger options. When configuring a policy violation trigger in the Review Builder, administrators select the target policy from a searchable dropdown, and the reviewable object type is automatically aligned to match the policy. Triggered reviews appear alongside automations in the Connected Actions section of the policy, providing a unified view of all actions associated with a policy.
Bug Fixes
- Teams App: Resolved an issue where the Public and Private category assignment on provisioning templates changed inconsistently when a search filter was applied, ensuring template visibility settings remain stable regardless of the active search state.
