In this release, we’ve updated Nova’s branding, added a visual warning for scan interval issues, and introduced notification emails for Provisioning and Automation errors. Template properties now appear in a new sidebar, and company guidelines can be added via rich text. Enhancements include better multi-geo support, optimized scanning, and direct links to Power Apps and Power Automate. We fixed issues with dashboard access, missing “What’s New?” categories, automation filters, problem exporting report selected properties, and new user invitation email notifications have been resolved. Additional performance and stability improvements have also been made.


Features

  • We have updated our branding in Nova and replaced the Rencore Governance logo with the dedicated Rencore Nova logo.

  • We added a new visual warning indicator to the inventory to inform you if scan intervals for properties deviate from their parent entity. This way we want to make it more transparent to you which data is being updated and scanned.

  • We removed links and tiles referring to the UserVoice page, please pass on any feedback and needs to our support or customer success management.

  • We added notification e-mails for errors in Provisioning and Automation to inform you of anything that might need your attention without checking it manually.

    • These e-mails will be sent to any user in Rencore Governance with the role of owner or admin.

  • We added a new feature to Rencore Nova to display template properties in a newly created sidebar.

  • Added capabilities to provide a company guideline through a rich text field for your users. This will enable you to explain the use case of each template with a description while also referring to internal documentation, training, or other resources.  The feature is currently available through the beta access program.

  • We made changes to the Provisioning experience in Rencore Nova and changed some existing modal windows to full pages in the application. This mainly helps us to implement future improvements to Rencore Nova but also frees up some space to display 3 rows of templates for the user. The feature is currently available through the beta access program.

  • We added new functionality to the Provisioning feature to pre-selection sensitivity labels that a user can choose from during the provisioning request.

    • This will enable you to reduce the number of templates provided and offer more flexibility to you and your users.  The feature is currently available through the beta access program.

  • We added capabilities to provision Viva Engage Communities to our Provisioning feature.

    • Provisioning of Communities can include the name, description, visibility, owners, and members of a Community.  The feature is currently available through the beta access program.

  • We added capabilities to support Provisioning in multi-geo environments. Therefore Teams and SharePoint workspaces can be provisioned in different data locations according to the requestor.  The feature is currently available through the beta access program.

  • We introduced optimization to our scanning logic and from now on Exchange and Power Platform scans will not depend on each other anymore.

  • We added direct links to Power Apps and Power Automate Environments forwarding you to the specific Microsoft environment.

  • We improved the performance of cloning reports and creating a preview of reports. We plan to add more performance improvements soon.

Bug Fixes

  • We fixed an issue where users couldn’t switch to another dashboard if they landed on one they didn’t have access to.
  • We fixed an issue where for some trend charts the default date interval was 90 days instead of 30 days.
  • We fixed an issue where in our “What’s New?” feature some categories have been missing.
  • We fixed an issue where the filter options for the state of an automation did not reflect all available options.
  • We fixed an issue where the selection of a desired property for an export of a report didn’t work as expected.
  • We fixed an issue where some newly invited users might not receive an invitation e-mail notification.
