What happens if I do not act on an approval before the due date?
If the due date passes without a decision, the approval expires. The requester and your admin are notified. Check with your admin about your organization’s policy for expired approvals.

I see "Other Approvers" on an approval card. Do all approvers need to act? This depends on how your admin configured the approval workflow. In some cases, a single approval is sufficient. In others, all listed approvers need to act. Next Can I change my decision after approving or declining? No, once you submit an approval or decline decision, it cannot be changed through the Teams App. If you need to reverse a decision, contact your IT admin.
