Before you begin
- You do not need a Rencore role yet. You create your account when you sign up, and the WorkspaceWorkspaceA Workspace is the top-level container in Rencore Governance. It holds the settings, users, roles and connected apps for exactly one Environment, the connected Microsoft 365 tenant.Read more you create is yours.
- You need your own Microsoft 365 tenant to connect, and an administrator account for it, or someone who has one, to give consent. See the Quick start.
Steps
- Go to rencore.com/en/get-started and select Start Rencore Lite trial.
- Fill in the sign-up form to create your account.
- Sign in, create your Workspace and connect your Microsoft 365 tenant. The Quick start shows each step.
- Wait for the first scan. Depending on the size of your tenant, it can take up to 24 hours before all data is shown.
What you see
- An inventory of your Microsoft 365 tenant.
- Your first risks, ranked by severity.
- A trial that runs for 14 days. The remaining days are shown in Rencore Governance.
Limits
- Up to 25 emails are sent per day. When the limit is reached, no more emails are sent that day, and emails over the limit are not sent later.
- Data exports include up to 10 objects.

No. You do not need a Rencore role yet, because you create your account when you sign up and the Workspace you create is yours. You do need your own Microsoft 365 tenant and an administrator account for it, or someone who has one to give consent.
