Built-in role

Also known as: built-in roles, Owner, Admin, Contributor, Reader

A built-in role is one of the four roles every Rencore Governance Workspace comes with: Owner, Admin, Contributor and Reader. Role-based access control with them is included in the Premium and Enterprise Plans.

A Reader sees the inventory, dashboards, reports and policies without changing them. A Contributor also creates and edits them. An Admin also manages users, teams and Environment settings. An Owner can do everything, including creating and deleting Environments and deleting the Workspace.

When none of them fits, create a custom role with exactly the permissions you need.
