Scan interval

Also known as: scanning interval

A scan interval is how often Rencore Governance aims to scan one object type, such as daily or weekly. The interval is a target, not a guarantee.

You set it per object type in the scan configuration, from the intervals that object type allows. A scan can run later than planned, and there is no fixed time when all data is updated.

Each inventory object page in the reference shows its default scanning interval and the intervals you can choose.
