Review decision

Also known as: review status

A review decision is what happened to a workspace in a Review: Unreviewed, Reviewed, Archived, Deleted, Rejected or a custom action. It is tracked apart from the review status, such as Pending or Completed.

The status is where a review stands: Pending, In Progress, Completed, Expired or Canceled. The decision is the outcome for the workspace, and the two are independent.

Keeping them apart shows both whether reviewers took part and what they decided for the workspace.

For example, a review that nobody completed before the due date ends with the status Expired and the decision Unreviewed. A review that all assigned reviewers declined has the decision Rejected.

On the cycle detail page, the decision metrics count Reviewed, Rejected, Unreviewed and each custom action. In the object review grid, filter by Decision or Status to find the workspaces you need.
