Connection
Also known as: Power Platform connection, flow connection, Power App connection
A connection is the stored, signed-in link that a Power App or a flow uses to reach a data source through a connector.
Rencore Governance lists connections as an object type of their own in two connectors: the connections used by your Power Apps, and the connections used by your flows.
A connection holds the sign-in to a data source. Knowing which apps and flows use which connections shows where your data goes and which connectors are in use.
For example, the policy Flows that use a specific connector flags every flow that connects to a service you name, and the report Flows with 3 or more connections lists the flows that reach the most data sources.
Connections are on the Power Apps and Power Automate tiles under Inventory. In Rencore Governance, the word connector means something else: one Microsoft or AI service that Rencore Governance scans.
