Power Platform
Also known as: Microsoft Power Platform
Power Platform is the Microsoft low-code platform where users build their own apps, flows, reports, agents and websites. It includes Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Copilot Studio and Power Pages.
Connector: Power Platform (generally available).
Rencore Governance covers Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI with the Apps, Automation & BI module, and Copilot Studio with the AI & Agents module. Power Apps and Power Automate share one scanning application that uses a delegated permission, so it needs a dedicated, correctly licensed administrator account.
The account you consent with is also used during every scan. It needs the Power Platform Administrator role assigned permanently, the Power Apps and Power Automate licenses, and it must not be a Global Administrator. An account that misses one of these leads to failed or incomplete scans.
For example, Power Automate policies flag flows with errors, flows without owners and flows that need a premium license, and Power Apps policies flag apps shared with everyone.
Power Platform has environments of its own, which appear in the inventory as objects. They are not Rencore Environments. The consent steps are on Power Platform consent.
