Consent Power Apps Power Automate Copilot Studio

Also known as: Microsoft Dataverse

Dataverse is the Microsoft data platform behind Power Platform apps and environments. Rencore Governance reads Copilot Studio through Dataverse.

After you give consent, Rencore Governance sets up every environment it scans during the next data collection job: it creates a read-only Rencore Governance security role and an application user for your Entra ID app, and assigns the role to that user.

You only set up an environment by hand when it fails to connect. See details in Manage consent lists those environments, and Dataverse and Copilot Studio has the manual steps: the security role, its permissions and the application user.

Power Platform scans can also stop on Dataverse, for example when the consenting user cannot be created in Microsoft Dataverse. The scan error guides explain each error and how to fix it.
