Power BI is the Microsoft service for reports and dashboards over business data. Rencore Governance covers it with the Power BI connector, part of the Apps, Automation & BI module.

Connector: Power BI (generally available). Rencore Governance covers 12 object types and 10 policies for Power BI.

The connector inventories workspaces, reports, dashboards, datasets, dataflows, datamarts, apps, capacities, pipelines, activity events and artifacts published to the web. Policies flag external access, workspaces without administrators and inactive reports and workspaces.

Automation actions add or remove a user or a group from a Power BI workspace.

Connecting it needs an app registration in Microsoft Entra ID and a sign-in with a Fabric Administrator who has a Power BI license.
