Inventory

Also known as: metadata inventory

The inventory is the record of every object Rencore Governance scans from your tenant, with their properties and the relations between them. It is grouped by connector.

It holds objects such as SharePoint sites, Teams, users, Power Automate flows and Copilot Studio agents. Dashboards, reports, policies, automations, reviews and provisioning all work on inventory data.

The inventory shows what you have, so you can decide where to act. It holds metadata only, such as names, owners and dates, not the content of files or messages.

For example, the inventory of the Teams connector lists every Team with its owners, members and channels, and how many Teams were added or removed in the period.

Working with the inventory

Open it from Inventory on the Nav Panel. Each connector tile shows its main objects, and Go to Inventory lists the objects of that connector with their New and Removed counts, the date of the last scan and a trend. From the inventory you create segments, choose which objects are scanned and how often, and run built-in actions on objects.
