Microsoft 365 Copilot
Also known as: Copilot
Microsoft 365 Copilot is the AI assistant in the Microsoft 365 apps. Rencore Governance covers it with the Copilot connector, part of the AI & Agents module.
Connector: Copilot (generally available). Rencore Governance covers 5 object types and 5 policies for Copilot.
The connector inventories Copilot sessions, user activity and the external Graph connections Copilot can reach. Policies and reports show who uses their Copilot license, which licenses go unused and which external data sources Copilot draws on.
The connector looks at use and reach. External Graph connections are part of the inventory, and policies flag external website data sources and external connections without documentation. Reports break down Copilot sessions and costs by department and region, and Copilot usage by application.
For example, one policy flags users who have not used their Copilot license for 30 days, and another flags Copilot licenses assigned to disabled accounts, so you can reassign them.
The Copilot connector page lists every object, policy and report it ships. Copilot Studio agents have a connector of their own.
