Report

Also known as: custom report, report template, Report Builder

A report is a saved query over the inventory that Rencore Governance shows as a chart, list, table or KPI, for example unused SharePoint site collections larger than 1 GB.

Each report has a primary object type, filters, a visualization and a category. You start from a report template or build a custom report, then share it, add it to a dashboard or follow its trend.

Reports show the state of your tenant and how it changes. Policies tell you what breaks a rule, while reports answer questions such as how much storage each department uses.

For example, a report of Copilot sessions by department, shared monthly with department heads, shows where Copilot is used.

Click Reports on the Nav Panel to see the top five reports per connector or category, go to all reports or add one.

Visualizations

Reports show as a bar, column, pie, donut, line or area chart, as KPIs, or as a table or list.

What else you can do with a report

From a report you can create a segment or a policy, clone it, export and import it, and share it with stakeholders on a schedule.
