Telemetry data

Also known as: usage telemetry

Telemetry data is the usage data Rencore Governance collects to operate and improve the service. It never includes personal or customer data from your tenant.

It covers connected connectors, granted permissions, scan jobs, errors and durations, object counts, configuration counts and general adoption metrics. It also counts the active users with a Microsoft 365 license, which is how licensed users are counted.

Telemetry tells Rencore how the service is used, so it can be operated and improved. It is about counts and configuration, never about the content of your tenant.

For example, telemetry shows how many policies a Workspace has and how long its scan jobs take, but not the names of your Teams or users.

Who can see it

Authorized Rencore support personnel can access telemetry data. It does not include any personally identifiable information or customer data retrieved from the connected Microsoft 365 tenant.
