Before you begin

  • You need the Owner or Admin role. Both roles can turn off the HubSpot chat and Pendo usage data. See Rencore roles.

Steps

Turn off the HubSpot chat

We use HubSpot for the chat with our Sales, Customer Success and Support teams inside the tool.

  1. Go to Settings > Workspace Settings > Appearance to change it for the whole Workspace, or Settings > Environment Settings > Appearance to change it for one Environment.
  2. Under Features, set Chat Icon to Off.
  3. Click Save.

Turn off Pendo usage data

We use Pendo.io to collect data about visited pages, used features and site performance, to help us improve the tool.

  1. Go to Settings > Workspace Settings > General Settings.
  2. Set Send diagnostics and usage data to Off.

Limits

  • HubSpot product news: the panel with product news has no switch in the settings. To turn it off for your Workspace, contact Rencore Support.
  • Userback: we use Userback.io for the Feedback button in the Settings menu. It has no switch in the settings. To turn it off for your Workspace, contact Rencore Support.
