Files & Folders add-on

Also known as: Files and Folders add-on, F&F add-on, file-level governance

Files & Folders is an add-on that adds metadata for all SharePoint, OneDrive and Loop files and folders to the inventory. It is included in the Enterprise Plan and optional on the Premium Plan.

Files & Folders is a Rencore Governance add-on. The metadata includes permissions, file size and file types. The add-on is required to analyze storage at file level.

Without the add-on, the inventory stops at sites, libraries and sharing. With it, you see every file and folder with its permissions, which file-level policies and reviews need.

For example, it lets you find large files that use most of the storage of a site, or folders with permissions that differ from their library.

What it adds

• Folders show the name, created by, modified by, parent folder, child folders and number of files.
• Files show the file name, extension, size, version, created date, created by, modified date, modified by and parent folder.

Optional add-ons are activated on the Environment of your Workspace by Rencore Support, on request from your Account Manager.
