SharePoint is the Microsoft 365 service for intranet sites, document libraries and file sharing. Rencore Governance covers it with the SharePoint connector, part of the Digital Workplace module.

The connector inventories site collections, sites, lists and libraries, files, folders, file sharing, SharePoint groups and SharePoint agents. Policies flag external sharing, missing sensitivity labels, broken permission inheritance and sites near their storage limit.

Automations can archive a site, set it to read-only or delete it, and archiving or deleting can wait for an approval first.

For example, a policy flags site collections with fewer than two owners, so every site keeps someone who answers for it.
